The Lift... This is photo of the lift in our building. As we live on the 8th floor its kind of important for us. I can't believe that i ever got in this lift. it is so ricketty and makes metallic scrapping noises as it goes up and down. It stops working when the power goes out (which is not uncommon) and sometimes it shudders and shakes with alarming force. Its also TINY and yet its amazing how many people can squeeze in there, as is often the case. But everyday i put my faith in this lift and so far it hasn't let me down.
