Is this the dune you ran down that was silk and made the sound? (you described this in the Proust Questionnaire and now I'm so fascinated.)
Hi V of F - yes this is the dune! however, this dune is massive - several kilometres long, and i came down close this area, but not exactly. This photo doesn't really indicate the height either, as my camera was fully zoomed in for this shot. I've added another photo at the top which shows the size of the dune a bit better. thanks for your interest!
